(Video) A$AP Rocky & GUESS Party in a Three-Story Treehouse

admin / 04 May, 2017

If you drive past the corner where Sherwood Drive and La Cienega Boulevard meet in Los Angeles on a normal day, you’ll see an empty store.

But if you rolled past on the evening of March 11, 2017, the fleet of matte pistol-colored Ferraris gathered around it or the flashing neon signs, head-thumping beats, and billowing cloud of smoke from a temporary treehouse on its roof just might have caught your attention. Inside, some of the city’s most recognizable musicians, models, and designers duked it out on ‘90s video games, while others danced on tables. They had come out to celebrate the launch of A$AP Rocky’s second capsule collection with Guess Originals and some of the luckier ones were fortunate enough to play Rocky himself at Pac-Man or find themselves invited to cosy up with the rapper in a teepee on of the more treehouse’s more secluded locations.

“Fashion is free, an expression,” said A$AP from the top of the stairs to the crowd on the entrance level floor at the party’s start. “It’s more than a lifestyle, it’s a culture. I’m glad people are finally cottoning on to dope shit. Get in my club house and get cosy—and wear my young and fun collection that reminds you of your favorite candies.”

The next day, the treehouse was converted into a popup store, but before the party wrapped, CR caught the whole thing on camera. Watch it unfold in the video bar above and click here to get the lowdown from A$AP Rocky himself on his new Guess collection.
