Machine Gun Kelly Working With ASAP Rocky

You never know when opportunity can come calling. In the midst of an interview with BET.com Bad Boy Record’s new rising star Machine Gun Kelly accepted a call from fellow rap newcomer ASAP Rocky that would lay the groundwork for a potential collaboration. The two upstarts confessed a mutual admiration for one another and made plans to hit the studio together in the near future to record new material.

“I want to work with ASAP Rocky A.S.A.P.,” says a fired up MGK after a four-minute conversation with the Harlem rapper. “I see how he’s been moving in the industry and how he moves as a person with his crew. He sounds like a thorough motherf—–.”

Though that was the first time MGK had ever spoken to ASAP, he has long been a fan of the Harlemite’s unorthodox style. It’s hardly surprising that the brash Cleveland rhyme slinger would be drawn to the carefree shock rap aesthetic ASAP Rocky offers. The two rappers, who share similar cult-like followings—MGK’s Lace Up nation and Rocky’s ASAP crew—will likely create something to the liking of their young hipster heavy fan bases.

After exchanging info MGK and ASAP went over some future show dates which could provide a potential rendezvous point for their studio hook up. As for as this MGK is concerned the time and place are just formalities in a must see music event.

“Two real motherf—-, two wild motherf—–,” MGK boasts. “It’s a problem. Not as far as when you hear the record, but when you see both of us perform it live. Get back b—-!”

Fans better lace up, asap, for what’s to come.
