Shayne Oliver’s Hood By Air debuted its Fall 2013 collection today at Milk Studios, with an array of apocalyptic streetwear set to smoke, lasers, and crushing beats from Arca and Tim Dewit. From Kanye-esque kilts to shawls that went heavy on the drape, it was an early preview of what the steeziest goths in the game will be wearing when the leaves start to turn. The biggest surprise came when Harlem’s own A$AP Rocky stepped out in the show’s final look, thus completing the A$AP Mob’s takeover of fashion week.

GQ’s Mark Anthony Green caught up with Rocky after the show to get his thoughts on the collection as well as his future in fashion:

GQ: What was your mindset going into the show? Did you want to stand out?
A$AP Rocky: I just wanted to support. I’m probably the main celeb that wears this brand faithfully. I’ve been a fan since probably 2008, and for me, the transition of what Shayne is doing is just immaculate, man. Right now it speaks to the culture more than anything, this ghetto-gothic mixed with high-end, mixed with streetwear, you gotta respect that. There’s something for everybody in there. Granted, they had a lot of dudes that you couldn’t tell whether that was a guy or a girl, but for me, I went on there on my A$AP Rocky, man.
